As a first generation, I lacked much guidance in my own life when it came to my future. I then discovered Dream Catchers, an organization that helps students who need a little support in finding their way. Through this, I realized I could make an impact and help others with what I struggled with, helping myself at the same time as well. As it is helping me find my path, I hope to aid others in finding their own.

I am a part of Dream Catchers because I was not given a guide or any help in knowing what to do for college. My parents did not know either and no counselor told me what I was supposed to know. The resources Dream Catchers offers is a major help for many students who may be in a similar situation as I was.

When I discovered Dream Catchers, I saw an opportunity to be part of something where I could apply my skills and make an impact. As a young adult, I often find myself struggling with decisions about what I want to study in college, constantly rethinking my path. However, Dream Catchers has guided me through this journey of figuring out what I want and where I want to go. Thanks to this organization, I feel more on track. When I found out they were recruiting new members, I knew right away that I wanted to join! I hope I can be a valuable addition to the team.

A few fun facts about me: I’m really passionate about the arts, and I’m the lead singer of a band! We perform regularly in my hometown, and we’ve even won a couple of competitions!

Hello! I’m a part of Dream Catchers for a multitude of reasons! I believe that the empowerment of women of color is an absolute necessity and this organization and its mission is working towards that goal! I’m looking forward to providing resources and opportunities to help make an impact on the community!

I joined Dream Catchers because I really believe in the power of education in transforming lives and providing opportunities. I know that access to the right resources can make a huge difference in a student’s future, and I’m so excited to be apart of a group that helps young people to reach their full potential. I am a volunteer with Dream Catchers because I love tech and want to help girls get into STEM. It’s important to me to support and inspire young girls to explore science and technology, and give them the guidance I had. By volunteering, I can share my passion for tech and help create opportunities for them to learn and grow in these fields.

I wanted to be part of Dream Catchers because I for one know what it feels like to be lost and not know where to start when it comes to school. School and life is hard to manage alone. I’m very involved in a local community college, and so I thought I could share a few of the tips, tricks, and ways to achieve (or catch) your dreams! A few fun facts about me, is that I am currently working towards my degree in political science, I am a summer baby, and my favorite color is pink!

Hi my name is Lara Warner. The reason I decided to join Dream Catchers is because I know how hard it can be to find resources and guidance to make into college and through high school itself. As a freshman in high school I like knowing that I am helping others to give them the chance to live up to their goals. Also, helping with Dream Catchers gives me tips and advice!

I became a part of Dream Catchers because it’s an organization for a group of students who want to make a change in education and that really caught my eye. I’m passionate about wanting to make any kind of difference in the world which is why Dream Catchers is the perfect organization for me. Hello, my name is Jem! Initially, I was interested in joining Dream Catchers because I strive to succeed, and, help others succeed academically. Some fun facts about me are that I love Rnb, and that my favorite TV show is The Vampire Diaries.

I decided to join Dream Catchers because I'm interested in learning more about how I could improve my resume to get into elite schools. I think being part of this group could help me in that area, and also boost my social and networking skills by connecting with others who have similar goals / passions as me 😊

I would like to join Dream Catchers because I believe everyone no matter where they are from should have an opportunity to go to college and have a career. I don’t think it’s easy financially, physically or mentally preparing and being in college so I believe it is a great opportunity to be a apart of a organization that helps people like me :)
